Question of contribution by civil governments to cost of military administration will be matter for subsequent settlement between Colonial Office and Treasury in accordance with para. 2(iv) of Appendix to dual responsibility memorandum enclosed in War Office letter to SACSEA numbered 16/Abroad/1693 (C.A.4) of 23 Feb 1945.
